We sell both AC and DC products into a number of home-automation applications, primarily those that require an opening-closing action; such as entry gates, garage doors, curtains, shutters and swimming pool covers.

In future we anticipate supplying many of our customers with new high efficiency planetary gearheads from our HP range which are well suited to opening-closing applications, particularly those with compact space requirements. For a single stage reduction the range offers less than 20 arc-minutes of backlash (one third of a degree).
